Pros: A great start to a series with a wonderful female detective character.

Cons: Plot slows down 3/4ths into the book.

Bottom Line: If you are a Holmes junkie and like reading about women detectives, this one is sure to please.

Bottom Line: If you're already a Sherlock Holmes fan, you should find a way to read this. Even if you're not, perhaps seeing him through a female narrator's eyes will entertain you.
