Pros: Structurally complex. Some excellent stories. Classic cover art.
Cons: The framing narrative is weak. Some mediocre stories. Not at all a standalone.
Bottom Line: A mixed bag, like most projects that dare to be exceptional.

Cons: Some might find parts of it slow; cliffhanger ending.
Bottom Line: A fascinating, absorbing blend of science fiction, horror, and mysticism. A rare treat of a book!

Cons: Ending within Fall of Hyperion, Poetry may confuse.
