Pros: Debut book holds a lot of promise. Likable characters, decent plot.
Cons: As with all of these amateur sleuth mysteries you have to relinquish some realism.
Bottom Line: This is a must to borrow if you are a cozy, culinary, mystery fan. I liked it enough to want seconds.

Pros: So well written. Such yummy recipes. Such easy, light yet expert prose.
Cons: None really. But if you read these in wrong order, you get past book's spoilers.

Cons: Backdrop of spousal abuse is uncomfortable, but story gets better if you stick with it.
