The poems in Kenneth Koch's 16th collection are directly addressed to a variety of subjects, such as "To Jewishness," "To Old Age," and "To Psychoanalysis." Several draw on Koch's experiences in World War II, in poems that are largely comic--the only way to deal with something that the poet says is "like being psychotic."
