Pros: They are few....philosophy of family dynamics was interesting as ever.

Cons: They are many....dated. Boring. Dull predictable characters and a "who cares" plot.

Bottom Line: Don't waste your time unless science fiction that is severely dated combined with "C-SPAN meets Chicks With Guns" is your special cup of tea

Pros: Interesting characters, setting, and plot, with good writing.

Cons: Some chauvinism.

Bottom Line: If you want rousing science fiction mixed with social and political musing, look no further.

Revolutions for Dummies

Pros: Political and social issues explored in the sneakiest way -- through an entertaining read.

Cons: Hard pressed to think of one.

Bottom Line: Another book that transcends boundaries, TMIAHM could be called social commentary, science fiction, an anarchist's handbook, or just an excellent read.

Pros: It has some of Heinlen's best ideas, without the 'weird' parts of 'Stranger'

Cons: It has a somewhat abrupt ending, but life often does as well...

Bottom Line: I was moved by this gripping tale of revolt in the face of a powerful force. Had I but a Mike, this country would truly be free!!
