Back on his home turf of Los Angeles, private investigator Elvis Cole is slap-bang in the middle of a high-profile and controversial murder case. A wealthy restaurateur is accused of murdering his wife, and his hot-shot defence lawyer hires Elvis to find proof that the detective, Angela Rossi, has fooled around with evidence. Rossi has been cleared of planting evidence before, but now it's rumoured she'll do anything to get her career back on track...even if it means framing an innocent man.
